सूर्यास्थितर्क्षाज्जनकस्वरूपं वृद्धिं द्वितीयेन तु तत्प्रकाशम्। तद्भ्रातरं तस्य गुणं तृतीयात् तन्मातरं चापि सुखं चतुर्थात्

ಸೂರ್ಯನು ನಿಂತಿರುವ ನಕ್ಷತ್ರದಿಂದ ಪಿತೃಸ್ವರೂಪವನ್ನು, ಎರಡನೇ ಭಾವದಿಂದ ಅದರ ವೃದ್ಧಿ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಕಾಶವನ್ನು, ಮೂರನೇ ಭಾವದಿಂದ ಆ ಪಿತೃವಿನ ಸಹೋದರ ಮತ್ತು ಗುಣಗಳನ್ನು, ಹಾಗೂ ನಾಲ್ಕನೇ ಭಾವದಿಂದ ಆ ಪಿತೃವಿನ ತಾಯಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸುಖವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯಬೇಕು. ಈ ಶ್ಲೋಕವು ಜ್ಯೋತಿಷ್ಯ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ…
