तत्तद्भावादष्टमेशस्थितांशे तत्त्रिकोणगे । व्ययेशस्थितभंशे वा मन्दे तद्भावनाशनम्

ಆಯಾ ಭಾವದ ಅಷ್ಟಮ ಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತಿರುವ ರಾಶಿಯ ಅಂಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಥವಾ ಆ ರಾಶಿಯ ತ್ರಿಕೋಣ ಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತಿರುವ ಅಂಶದಲ್ಲಿ, ಅಥವಾ ವ್ಯಯೇಶನ (ಹನ್ನೆರಡನೇಯ ಒಡೆಯನ) ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಅಂಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಂದನು (ಶನಿಯು) ಇದ್ದರೆ, ಆ ಭಾವದ ನಾಶವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ ಶ್ಲೋಕವು ಜ್ಯೋತಿಷ್ಯ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಮರಣ…
