Verse 17.14

स्फुटे विलग्ननाथस्य विशोध्य यमकण्टकम्। तद्राशिनवभागस्थे जीवे मृत्युर्न संशयः

ಲಗ್ನೇಶನ ಸ್ಫುಟವನ್ನು ನಿಖರವಾಗಿ ಪರಿಶೀಲಿಸಿ, ಯಮಕಂಟಕವನ್ನು (ಮೃತ್ಯು ಸಂಬಂಧಿ ದೋಷವನ್ನು) ಶೋಧಿಸಬೇಕು. ಆ ರಾಶಿಯ ನವಾಂಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಗುರು (ಬೃಹಸ್ಪತಿ) ಇದ್ದರೆ, ಮರಣ ನಿಶ್ಚಿತ; ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವುದೇ ಸಂದೇಹವಿಲ್ಲ. ಈ ಶ್ಲೋಕವು ಜ್ಯೋತಿಷ್ಯ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರದ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಗಂಭೀರವಾದ 'ನಿರ್ಯಾಣ ಪ್ರಕರಣ' ಅಥವಾ…
