रन्ध्रभोर्वा भानोर्वा भानोर्वाभांशकोणं गते विधौ । मृतिं वदेत्सर्वमेतल्लग्नाच्चद्राच्च चिन्तयेत्

ರಂಧ್ರ ಭಾವವು ಅಥವಾ ಸೂರ್ಯನು, ಅಥವಾ ಸೂರ್ಯನ ಅಂಶಕವು — ಇವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವುದಾದರೂ ಒಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಚಂದ್ರನು ಗಮನಿಸಿದಾಗ, ಮರಣವನ್ನು ಹೇಳಬೇಕು. ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ಲಗ್ನದಿಂದ ಮತ್ತು ಚಂದ್ರನಿಂದ ಚಿಂತಿಸಬೇಕು. ಈ ಪದ್ಯವು ಮೃತ್ಯು ಸಮಯದ ನಿರ್ಧಾರಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಚಂದ್ರನ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯ ಮೇಲಿನ ಒಂದು ನಿರ್ದಿಷ್ಟ ನಿಯಮವನ್ನು…
