Verse 18.16

सूर्यादितोऽत्रांशफलं प्रदिष्टं ज्ञेयं नवांशस्य फलं तदेव । राशीक्षणे यत्फलमुक्तमिन्दोस्तद्द्वादशांशस्य फलं हि वाच्यम्

ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಸೂರ್ಯನಿಂದ (ರಾಶಿ ಚಕ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ) ಹೇಳಲಾದ ಅಂಶ ಫಲವೇ ನವಾಂಶದ ಫಲವೆಂದು ತಿಳಿಯಬೇಕು. ಚಂದ್ರನ ರಾಶಿ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿರುವ ಫಲವೇ ದ್ವಾದಶಾಂಶದ (ದ್ರೆಕ್ಕಾಣದ) ಫಲವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ ಶ್ಲೋಕವು ಜ್ಯೋತಿಷ್ಯ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರದ ಸೂಕ್ಷ್ಮ ವಿಭಾಗಗಳಾದ ವರ್ಗ ಚಕ್ರಗಳ ಫಲ ನಿರ್ಣಯದ ಮೂಲ ತತ್ವವನ್ನು…
