शौवं धाम बहिःप्रकाशकमरुद्देशो रवेः पूर्वदिक् दुर्गास्थनचधूलौषधिमधुस्थानं विधोर्वायुदिक् । चोरम्लिच्छकृशानुयुद्धभुवि दिग्याम्या कुजस्योदिता विद्वद्विष्णुसभाविहारगणकस्थानान्युदीचीं विदुः

पूर्व दिशा, जहाँ बाह्य प्रकाश का विस्तार होता है, वह शिव का धाम कहा गया है — वही रवि (सूर्य) की दिग्बल की दिशा है। दुर्गा, शस्त्र, धूल, औषधि और मधु का स्थान जो उत्तर-पश्चिम (वायु दिशा) है, वही विधोः (चन्द्रमा) की दिग्बल स्थिति है। चोर…
