लग्ने बलिष्ठे जगति प्रभुत्वं सुखस्थिति देहबलं सुवर्चः । उपर्युपर्यभ्युदयाभिवृद्धिं प्राप्नोति बालेन्दुवदेष जातः

जब लग्न बलिष्ठ हो, तो जातक को संसार में प्रभुत्व (आधिपत्य), सुख की स्थिरता, देहबल और उत्तम कान्ति (सुवर्चस्) प्राप्त होती है। यह जातक ऊपर-ऊपर, क्रमशः उन्नति की वृद्धि को प्राप्त होता है — जैसे बालेन्दु (नवीन चन्द्रमा) क्रमशः बढ़ता है। लग्न…
