Verse 23.14

कृतेऽष्तवर्गे सति कारकर्क्षात्यद्भावमुक्ताङ्कमुपैति खेटः । तद्भावपुष्टिं सशुभोऽशुभो वा करोत्यनुक्ते विपरीतमेव

ಅಷ್ಟವರ್ಗವನ್ನು ರಚಿಸಿದ ನಂತರ, ಯಾವ ಗ್ರಹವು ತನ್ನ ಕಾರಕತ್ವದ ನಕ್ಷತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುತ್ತದೆಯೋ, ಆ ಗ್ರಹವು ಆ ಭಾವಕ್ಕೆ ನಿಗದಿತವಾದ ಅಂಕಗಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತದೆ. ಆಗ ಆ ಗ್ರಹವು ಶುಭವಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ ಅಥವಾ ಅಶುಭವಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ, ಆ ಭಾವದ ಪುಷ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು (ಬಲವನ್ನು) ಉಂಟುಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ; ಹಾಗೆ ಅಂಕಗಳು…
