Verse 23.20

सर्वग्रहाणां प्रहितेऽष्टवर्गे तत्कालराशिस्थितबिन्दुयोगे । अष्टाक्षसंख्याधिकविन्दवश्वेत् शुभं तदुने व्यसनं क्रमेण

ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಗ್ರಹಗಳ ಅಷ್ಟಕವರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ, ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಯ ಕಾಲದ ರಾಶಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಬಿಂದುಗಳ ಮೊತ್ತವನ್ನು ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಬೇಕು. ಆ ಬಿಂದುಗಳ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯು ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತೆಂಟಕ್ಕಿಂತ (ಅಷ್ಟಾಕ್ಷ) ಹೆಚ್ಚಿದ್ದರೆ ಅದು ಶುಭವನ್ನು ನೀಡುತ್ತದೆ; ಅದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಕಡಿಮೆಯಿದ್ದರೆ ಕ್ರಮೇಣ ಕಷ್ಟ ಅಥವಾ ವ್ಯಸನವನ್ನು ಉಂಟುಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ…
