वर्गान्योजयतु त्रयोदश सुहृत्स्वर्क्षोच्चभेषु क्रमाद्द्विस्त्रिः पञ्च चतुर्नाद्रिवसुषट्संख्यासु वर्गैक्यतः । प्राहुश्चोत्तमपारिजातकथितौ सिंहासनं गोपुरं चेत्यय्रावतदेवलोकसुरलोकांशांश्च पारावतम्

十三の Vargas（分図）を、順に友・自・高の星座に配置し、それぞれ二・三・五の数で掛ける。さらに四・七・八・六の数において Vargas の総和をとる。これらにより、最高位の Parijata、Asana、Gopura、Airavata、Devaloka、Suraloka、Paravata という各アムシャ（区分）が説かれる。
