कृच्छ्रलब्धधनवान्पिरभूतो लोलसम्पदुचितव्ययशीलः । स्वर्गमेव लभऽन्तेत्यदशायां जाल्मको मुसलजश्चपलश्च

ಕಷ್ಟಪಟ್ಟು ಸಂಪಾದಿಸಿದ ಧನವುಳ್ಳವನೂ, ಪರರಿಂದ ಅಪಮಾನಿತನಾಗುವವನೂ, ಚಂಚಲವಾದ ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯವುಳ್ಳವನೂ, ಯೋಗ್ಯವಾದ ವ್ಯಯಶೀಲನೂ ಆಗಿರುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಈ ದಶೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಜನ್ಮಿಸಿದವನು ಅಂತದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವರ್ಗವನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಾನೆ, ಆದರೆ ಅವನು ನೀಚನೂ, ಮೂರ್ಖನೂ ಮತ್ತು ಚಪಲಸ್ವಭಾವದವನೂ ಆಗಿರುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಈ ಶ್ಲೋಕವು…
