विद्यासौख्यप्रतापः प्रचुरसुतयुतो मान्त्रिकः पञ्चमस्थे जातक्रोधो विवादिर्द्वीषि रिपुबलहन्तालसो निष्ठुरोक्तिः । प्राज्ञोऽस्ते चारुवेषः ससकलमहिमा याति भार्यां सवित्तां विख्याताख्यश्चिरायुः कुलभृदधिपतिर्ज्ञेऽष्टम दण्डनेता

ಬುಧನು ಐದನೇ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದರೆ, ಜಾತಕನು ವಿದ್ಯಾವಂತನಾಗಿ, ಸುಖವನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸುವವನಾಗಿ, ಪ್ರತಾಪಶಾಲಿಯಾಗಿ, ಹೇರಳವಾದ ಪುತ್ರಸಂತಾನವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದವನಾಗಿ ಮತ್ತು ಮಂತ್ರಶಕ್ತಿಯುಳ್ಳವನಾಗಿರುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಆದರೆ ಅವನು ಬೇಗನೆ ಕೋಪಗೊಳ್ಳುವವನು, ವಾದಪ್ರಿಯನು, ಶತ್ರುಗಳ ಬಲವನ್ನು ನಾಶಮಾಡುವವನು…
