Verse 14.3

मूलादि स्नेह कूटैर्व्यवहरति वणिग्बाहु योद्धा स सौम्ये पुर्यध्यक्षः स जीवे भवति नर पतिः प्राप्त वित्तो द्विजो वा । गोपो मल्लोऽथदक्षः परयुवति रतो द्यूत कृत्सासुरेज्ये दुःखार्तोऽसत्य संधः स सवितृ तनये भूमिजे निन्दितश्च

月・水星・金星・木星のいずれかと太陽が conjunction（合）するならば、その人は根や薬草、愛着あるもの、あるいは策略を用いて商売をする商人となり、あるいは腕力を用いる戦士となる。土星と合するならば都市の長となり、木星と合するならば富を得た王あるいはブラフマナとなる。火星と合するならば牛飼い、力士、あるいは巧みな者となり、他の女性の夫として享楽にふけり、賭博を作り出し、偽りの契約を結ぶ者となる。
