विकत्थनः शास्त्र कला विदग्धः प्रियंवदः सौख्यरतस्तृतीये । जलार्जित स्वः स्व जनस्य शत्रुः शशाङ्कजे शीत करऋक्षयुक्ते

ವಿಕತ್ಥನಃ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಕಲಾ ವಿದಗ್ಧಃ ಪ್ರಿಯಂವದಃ ಸೌಖ್ಯರತಸ್ತೃತೀಯೇ । ಜಲಾರ್ಜಿತಸ್ವಃ ಸ್ವಜನಸ್ಯ ಶತ್ರುಃ ಶಶಾಂಕಜೇ ಶೀತಕರಋಕ್ಷಯುಕ್ತೇ ॥ ವಿಕತ್ಥನಃ — ದುರ್ಬಲರಾದವರನ್ನು ಅವಮಾನಿಸುವವನು, ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರದ ಕಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಪುಣನಾದ ವಿದ್ವಾಂಸನು, ಪ್ರಿಯವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡುವವನು, ಸುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡಗಿರುವವನು…
