Verse 2.14

अयन क्षण वासरऋतवो मासोऽर्धं च समाश्च भास्करात्। कटुक लवण तिक्त मिश्रिता मधुराम्लौ च कषायेत्यपि

ಅಯನಗಳು, ಕ್ಷಣಗಳು, ದಿನಗಳು, ಋತುಗಳು, ಮಾಸಗಳು, ಅರ್ಧವರ್ಷಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸಂವತ್ಸರಗಳು ಸೂರ್ಯನಿಂದಲೇ ಉಂಟಾಗುತ್ತವೆ. ಕಹಿ, ಉಪ್ಪು, ಕಾರ, ಮಿಶ್ರ, ಸಿಹಿ, ಹುಳಿ ಮತ್ತು ಕಷಾಯ ಎಂಬ ಈ ಏಳು ರುಚಿಗಳೂ ಸೂರ್ಯನಿಂದಲೇ ಹುಟ್ಟುತ್ತವೆ. ಈ ಶ್ಲೋಕವು ಸೂರ್ಯನನ್ನು ಕಾಲದ ಮತ್ತು ಅನುಭವದ ಮೂಲ ಕಾರಣನಾಗಿ…
