Verse 22.2

कर्कटोदय गते यथोडुपे स्वोच्चगाः कुजयमार्क सूरयः । कारका निगदिताः परस्परं लग्नगस्य सकलोऽम्बराम्बुगः

月が蟹座に昇り、火星・金星・太陽がそれぞれ自分のHighest Point（自高）にあるとき、それらは相互にカルカ（ significators）であると説かれる。また、アセンダント（上昇点）にある惑星は、天空と水域のすべてを支配する。
