अस्ते रवौ सरुधिरे निधने अर्क पुत्रे क्षीणे रसातल गते हिमगौ खगान्तः । लग्नात्मजाष्टम तपःस्विन भौम मन्द चन्द्रैस्तु शैल शिखराशनि कुड्य पातैः

जब सूर्य अस्त हो जाएं, रुधिर राशि (वृश्चिक) में हों, और अर्कपुत्र (शनि) भी क्षीण अवस्था में हों; जब चंद्रमा रसातल (अमावस्या या अत्यंत नीच की अवस्था) को प्राप्त हो जाएं और खगों का अंत हो; तथा जब लग्न, पुत्र और धर्म भावों में तपस्वी ग्रह…
