होरा नवांशकपयुक्त स मान भूमौ योगेक्षणादिभिरतः परिकल्प्यम्एतत्। मोहस्तु मृत्यु समये अनुदितांश तुल्यः स्वेशेक्षिते द्वि गुणितस्त्रिगुणः शुभैश्च

ഹോരയും നവാംശകവൃത്തയും ചേർന്നുള്ള മാനഭൂമിയിൽ, യോഗം, ഈക്ഷണം മുതലായവ നിമിത്തം പരിഗണിച്ച് ഈ കാര്യം നിർണ്ണയിക്കപ്പെടണം. എന്നാൽ മോഹം എന്നത് മരണസമയത്തിന്റെ അനുദിതാംശത്തിന് തുല്യമാണ്; സ്വേശന്റെ ഈക്ഷണത്ിൽ ഇത് ഇരട്ടിയും മൂന്നിരട്ടിയുമായി…
