पद्मार्चिता मूर्धनि भोगि युक्ता स्त्री कर्क शारण्य गता विरौति । शाखां पलाशस्य समाश्रिता च मध्ये स्थिता कर्कटकस्यराशेः

ಪದ್ಮದಿಂದ ಪೂಜಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ, ಶಿರದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಮಲದ ಆಕಾರದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕೂಡಿದ, ಸ್ತ್ರೀ ಸ್ವರೂಪದ, ಕರ್ಕ ರಾಶಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿದ, ಆಶ್ರಯವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದ, ವಿರೌತಿ (ಗರ್ಜಿಸುತ್ತದೆ), ಪಲಾಶ ವೃಕ್ಷದ ರೆಂಬೆಗೆ ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಂಡು, ಮಧ್ಯಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತಿರುವ, ಕರ್ಕಟಕ (ಕರ್ಕಾಟಕ) ರಾಶಿಯ ಸ್ವರೂಪ. ಈ ಪದ್ಯವು ಕರ್ಕಾಟಕ…
