किन्नरोपम तनुः स कम्बलस्तूण चाप कवचैः समन्वितः । कुम्भम्उद्वहति रत्न चित्रितं स्कन्धगं मकरराशि पश्चिमः

કિન્નર સમાન શરીર ધારણ કરનાર તે (મકર રાશિનો પશ્ચિમ દ્રેષ્કાણ), કમ્બલ, સ્તંભ, ધનુષ્ય અને કવચથી યુક્ત છે; તે પોતાના ખભા પર રત્નજડિત ઘડો ઉપાડી રહ્યો છે. આ શ્લોક મકર રાશિના ત્રીજા અને અંતિમ ભાગનું, એટલે કે પશ્ચિમ દ્રેષ્કાણનું સ્વરૂપ વર્ણવે છે…
