Verse 4.8

क्रूरे शशिनश्चतुर्थगे लग्नाद् वा निधनाश्रिते कुजे । बन्ध्वन्त्यगयोः क्षीणेन्दौ निधनाय पूर्ववत्

此偈颂揭示了生命能量在极端脆弱时的天文征象。月亮代表心识、生命力与身体的滋养，当其处于“亏缺”（ Krishna Paksha，黑半月）状态时，其光辉与修复力本已减弱。若此时凶星（如土星、火星、罗睺等）进一步侵扰月亮所依存的第四宫（代表心脏、内在安宁与生命根基），或是代表暴力与突发灾祸的火星占据象征寿命终结的第八宫，生命的防护机制便面临严峻考验。
