Verse 6.4

क्षीणे हिमगौ व्ययगौ पापैरुदयाष्टमगैः । केन्द्रेषु शुभाश्च न चेत्क्षिप्रं निधनं प्रवदेत्

この詩節は、生命の根源的な活力を示す月が、その力を失い（ क्षीणे ）、さらに生命を消耗させる第十二宮と死や変容を司る第八宮という二つの敏感な場所を凶星が占めている状態を説いています。月は心と身体を育む栄養源であり、それが弱っている上に、消耗と危機の場所が凶悪なエネルギーで満たされている場合、生命維持の基盤が極めて不安定であることを意味します。
