真正的智慧在于从纷繁复杂的法则中提炼出那个唯一的核心原则。经文强调“一”胜过“多”，意指在众多的推论中，只有一个最根本、最符合自然法则的结论是真实有效的。修行者或占星师应当具备 discernment（辨别的智慧），舍弃那些冗余且相互冲突的次要规则，直指生命的本质。这不仅是对技术的精简，更是一种对真理的敬畏，表明在命运的宏大架构前，简约与诚实远比复杂的炫技更为重要。
