Verse 8.2

आयुः कृतं येन हि यत्तदेव कल्प्या दश सा प्रबलस्य पूर्वाम्। साम्ये बहूनां बहु वर्षदस्य तेषां च साम्ये प्रथमोदितस्य

જે ગ્રહ દ્વારા આયુષ્યનું ગણિત કરવામાં આવ્યું હોય, તે જ પ્રબળ ગ્રહની મહાદશા પ્રથમ ગણવી. જો અનેક ગ્રહોની શક્તિ સમાન હોય તો જેનું આયુષ્યદાયક યોગદાન વર્ષોમાં વધુ હોય તેની દશા લેવી; અને જો તેમાં પણ સમાનતા હોય તો જે ગ્રહ સૌ પ્રથમ ઉદય પામ્યો હોય…
