Verse 8.9

एकं द्वौ नव विंशतिर्धृति कृती पञ्चाशद् एषां क्रमाच्चन्द्रारेन्दुज शुक्र जीवदिनक्रिद् दैवा करिणां समाः । स्वैः स्वैः पुष्ट फलानि सर्ग जनितैः पक्तिर्दशायाः क्रमाद् अन्ते लग्नदशा शुभेति यवना नेच्छन्ति केचित्तथा

ఒకటి, రెండు, తొమ్మిది, ఇరవై ఒకటి; ధృతి, కృతి, యాభై — ఇవి వరుసగా చంద్రుడు, సూర్యుడు, కుజుడు, రాహువు, గురువు, శుక్రుడు, శని, బుధుడు, కేతువుల దశా సంవత్సరాలు. తమ తమ స్వభావాల వల్ల కలిగిన పుష్టితో కూడిన ఫలాలను ఈ గ్రహాలు తమ దశా క్రమంలో ఇస్తాయి…
