Verse 8.9

एकं द्वौ नव विंशतिर्धृति कृती पञ्चाशद् एषां क्रमाच्चन्द्रारेन्दुज शुक्र जीवदिनक्रिद् दैवा करिणां समाः । स्वैः स्वैः पुष्ट फलानि सर्ग जनितैः पक्तिर्दशायाः क्रमाद् अन्ते लग्नदशा शुभेति यवना नेच्छन्ति केचित्तथा

此偈确立了吠陀占星体系中“大运”（Dasha）的时间基石。九颗行星并非随意轮转，而是依据其宇宙本质的成熟度，被赋予了特定的年限：从月亮的一年到金星的二十年。这并非机械的时间切割，而是灵魂在不同行星能量主导下，经历业力果实成熟的具体周期。每一段时期都是生命剧本中不可或缺的一章，由该行星的先天特质（Sarga janitaih）所滋养，决定了该阶段人生的基调与收获。
