निरीक्षितव्यं यत्नेन सदा प्रत्यूषकालतः । कालस्य वञ्चानार्थाय कर्म कुर्वन्ति योगिनः

ಯೋಗಿಗಳು ಕಾಲದ ವಂಚನೆಗಾಗಿ (ಅಥವಾ ಕಾಲಬಂಧನವನ್ನು ಮೀರಲು) ಪ್ರತಿದಿನ ಬೆಳಗ್ಗೆ ಅರುಣೋದಯದ ಕಾಲದಿಂದಲೇ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ಶ್ವಾಸದ ಗತಿಯನ್ನು ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಬೇಕು ಮತ್ತು ಪರಿಶೀಲಿಸಬೇಕು. ಈ ಶ್ಲೋಕವು ಸ್ವರೋದಯ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರದ ಮೂಲಭೂತ ತತ್ವವಾದ 'ಕಾಲಜ್ಞಾನ'ವನ್ನು ಸಾರುತ್ತದೆ. ಇಲ್ಲಿ 'ಕಾಲ' ಎಂದರೆ ಕೇವಲ…
