अष्टङ्गुलं वहेद्वायुरनलश्चतुरङ्गुलम्। द्वादशाङ्गुलमाहेयं वारुणं षोडशाङ्गुलम्

ಅಷ್ಟಾಂಗುಲಗಳಷ್ಟು ಗಾಳಿ ಹರಿಯುತ್ತದೆ; ಅಗ್ನಿ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಅಂಗುಲಗಳು; ಹೆಗ್ಗಾಳಿ (ವಾರುಣ) ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಅಂಗುಲಗಳು; ಷೋಡಶ ಅಂಗುಲಗಳಷ್ಟು ಪಶ್ಚಿಮದ ಗಾಳಿ ಹರಿಯುತ್ನೆ. ಈ ಶ್ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿವ ಸ್ವರೋದಯದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ದೇಹದ ಒಳಗೆ ವಿವಿಧ ವಾಯುಗಳು ಹೇಗೆ ನಿರ್ದಿಷ್ಟ ಅಳತೆಯ ಅಂಗುಲ ಮಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಚಲಿಸುತ್ತವೆ…
