Verse 1.159

उर्ध्वं मृत्युरधः शान्तिस्तिर्यगुच्चाटनं तथा । मध्ये स्तम्भं विजानीयान्नभः सर्वत्र मध्यमम्

ಮೇಲಗಡೆ ಮೃತ್ಯು, ಕೆಳಗಡೆ ಶಾಂತಿ, ಅಡ್ಡವಾಗಿ ಉಚ್ಚಾಟನ, ಹಾಗೇ, ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ತಂಭನವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯಬೇಕು; ಆಕಾಶವು ಎಲ್ಲೂ ಮಧ್ಯಮವಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಶ್ಲೋಕವು ಉಸಿರಿನ ಚಲನೆಯ ಮೂಲಕ ಮಾನವನ ಗತಿಯನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಉರ್ಧ್ವ, ಅಧಃ, ತಿರ್ಯಕ್ ಎಂಬ ಮೂರು ದಿಕ್ಕುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮೃತ್ಯು, ಶಾಂತಿ, ಉಚ್ಚಾಟನ ಎಂಬ…
