पृथ्वीजलाभ्यां सिद्धिः स्यान्मृत्युर्वह्नौ क्षयोऽनिले । नभसो निष्फलं सर्वं ज्ञातव्यं तत्त्व वेदिभिः

ಭೂಮಿ ಮತ್ತು ನೀರಿನ ಸಂಯೋಗದಿಂದ ಸಿದ್ಧಿ ದೊರೆಯುತ್ತದೆ; ಬೆಂಕಿಯು ಮೃತ್ಯು ತರುತ್ತದೆ; ಗಾಳಿಯ ಕ್ಷಯ ಶಿಥಿಲತೆ; ಆಕಾಶದಿಂದ ಎಲ್ಲವೂ ನಿಷ್ಫಲ; ತತ್ತ್ವವೇತ್ತರು ಇದನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯಬೇಕು. ಈ ಶ್ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿವ ಸ್ವರೋದಯದ ಮೂಲ ತತ್ತ್ವವನ್ನು ಪಂಚ ಭೂತಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿ ವಿವರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಪೃಥ್ವಿ…
