उष्णः शीतः कृष्णवर्णस्तिर्यगान्यष्टकाङ्गुलः । वायुः पवनसंज्ञस्तु चरकर्मप्रसाधकः
ಉಷ್ಣಃ ಶೀತಃ ಕೃಷ್ಣವರ್ಣಃ ತಿರ್ಯಗಾನ್ಯಷ್ಟಕಾಙ್ಗುಲಃ । ವಾಯುಃ ಪವನಸಂಜ್ಞಸ್ತು ಚರಕರ್ಮಪ್ರಸಾಧಕಃ ॥ ವಾಯು ಉಷ್ಣವೂ ಆಗಿದೆ, ಶೀತವೂ ಆಗಿದೆ, ಕಪ್ತ ವರ್ಣವುಳ್ಳದ್ದೂ ಆಗಿದೆ, ಅಪ್ರಾಧಾನ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಎಂಟು ಅಂಗುಲಗಳಷ್ಟು ವಿಸ್ತೀರ್ಣವೂ ಆಗಿದೆ; ಪವನ ಎಂಬ ಹೆಸರಿನಿಂದ ಕರೆಯಲ್ಪಡುವ ಆ ವಾಯು ಚರಕರ್ಮಗಳನ್ನು…
