ईश्वरोवाच । ध्यायेद्देवं स्थिरो जीवं जुहुयाज्जीव सङ्गमे । इष्टसिद्धिर्भवेत्तस्य महालाभो जयस्तथा

ಈಶ್ವರನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ: ಸ್ಥಿರವಾದ ಜೀವನನ್ನು (ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು) ಧ್ಯಾನಿಸಬೇಕು; ಜೀವನ ಸಂಗಮದಲ್ಲಿ (ಪ್ರಾಣ ಮತ್ತು ಅಪಾನಗಳ ಮಿಲನದಲ್ಲಿ) ಹೋಮ ಅಥವಾ ಯಜ್ಞವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಬೇಕು. ಅದರಿಂದ ಆತನಿಗೆ ಇಷ್ಟಾರ್ಥ ಸಿದ್ಧಿಯಾಗುತ್ತದೆ, ಮಹತ್ತರವಾದ ಲಾಭ ಮತ್ತು ಜಯವೂ ಉಂಟಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ ಶ್ಲೋಕವು ಸ್ವರೋದಯ…
