यत्र स्थितमिदं सर्वं कार्यं यस्माच् च निर्गतम् तस्यानावृतरूपत्वान् न निरोधोऽस्ति कुत्रचित्

Translation That in which this entire universe of effects rests, and from which it emerges, because its nature is never covered, there is no obstruction anywhere.

Meaning This verse points to the fundamental ground of reality, the Spanda or divine vibration, which serves as both the substrate and the source of all manifestation. Just as waves arise from the ocean and dissolve back into it without ever ceasing to be water, all phenomena emerge from this conscious principle and rest within it. The text asserts that this source is not a distant creator but the immediate context of every experience, the very screen upon which the movie of the world plays.

The crucial insight here is the phrase "never covered." Unlike physical objects that can be hidden behind walls or obscured by darkness, the nature of this consciousness is self-luminous and ever-present. It cannot be blocked, veiled, or stopped by any circumstance, thought, or emotion. When we feel stuck or limited, it is not because the divine power has ceased to flow or has been obstructed; rather, our attention has contracted around a specific form, causing us to miss the open, unobstructed space in which that form appears. There is no place where this vitality is absent, and therefore, no true barrier exists in reality.

Contemplation Throughout your day, whenever you encounter a situation that feels like a blockage, a delay, or an impassable wall, pause for a single breath. Instead of focusing on the obstacle itself, shift your awareness to the space in which the obstacle is appearing. Ask yourself silently: "Is the awareness that perceives this problem also blocked?" Feel for the vast, unobstructed background of your own presence that holds the difficulty without being damaged by it. Rest in the recognition that while the content of your experience may be turbulent, the capacity to experience it remains perfectly open and free.

A contemplative reading in the spirit of the Kashmir Shaivism (Spanda — the doctrine of vibration) tradition — an aid to reflection, not a substitute for a living teacher or the classical commentaries.
