पृथ्व्याः पञ्च ह्यपां वेदा गुणास्तेजो द्विवायुतः । नभस्येकगुणश्चैव तत्त्वज्ञानमिदं भवेत्
ಪೃಥ್ವೀ ತತ್ತ್ವದ ಐದು ಗುಣಗಳು, ಜಲ ತತ್ತ್ವದ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಗುಣಗಳು, ಅಗ್ನಿ ತತ್ತ್ವದ ಎರಡು ಗುಣಗಳು, ಮತ್ತು ವಾಯು ತತ್ತ್ವದ ಒಂದು ಗುಣವಿದೆ. ಈ ತತ್ತ್ವಗಳ ಈ ಗುಣಗಳ ಜ್ಞಾನವೇ ತತ್ತ್ವಜ್ಞಾನವೆಂದು ಹೇಳಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ ಶ್ಲೋಕವು ಪಂಚಮಹಾಭೂತಗಳ ಗುಣಗಳ ಸಂಖ್ಯಾತ್ಮಕ ವಿವರಣೆಯನ್ನು ನೀಡುತ್ತದೆ…
