Verse 1.328

मारुतं बन्धयित्वा तु सूर्यं बन्धयते यदि । अभ्यासाज्जीवते जीवः सूर्यकालेऽपि वञ्चिते

ಮಾರುತವನ್ನು (ಪ್ರಾಣವಾಯುವನ್ನು) ನಿಗ್ರಹಿಸಿ, ಸೂರ್ಯನಾಡಿಯನ್ನು (ಪಿಂಗಲೆಯನ್ನು) ಬಂಧಿಸಿದರೆ, ಅಭ್ಯಾಸದಿಂದ ಜೀವಿಯು ಸೂರ್ಯನ ಕಾಲವೂ (ಹಗಲಿನ ಸಮಯವೂ) ಕ್ಷೀಣಿಸಿದಾಗಲೂ ಬದುಕಿರುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಈ ಶ್ಲೋಕವು ಪ್ರಾಣಾಯಾಮದ ಅತ್ಯುನ್ನತ ಸಿದ್ಧಿಯನ್ನು ಸೂಚಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಮನುಷ್ಯನ…
