Verse 1.331

अहोरात्रे यदैकत्र वहते यस्य मारुतः । तदा तस्य भवेन्मृत्युः सम्पूर्णे वत्सरत्रये

ಯಾವ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯ ಪ್ರಾಣವಾಯುವು (ಶ್ವಾಸವು) ದಿನ ಮತ್ತು ರಾತ್ರಿ ಎರಡರಲ್ಲೂ ಏಕೈಕ ನಾಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ (ಇಡ ಅಥವಾ ಪಿಂಗಲ) ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ಹರಿಯುತ್ತದೆಯೋ, ಆಗ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಮೂರು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಪೂರ್ಣಾವಧಿಯ ನಂತರ ಮರಣ ಸಂಭವಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ ಶ್ಲೋಕವು ಶ್ವಾಸದ ಸ್ವಭಾವ ಮತ್ತು ಆಯುಷ್ಯದ ನಡುವಿನ ಗಾಢವಾದ ಸಂಬಂಧವನ್ನು…
