Verse 1.339

दुष्टशब्देषु रमते शुद्धशब्देषु चाप्यति । पश्चात्तापो भवेद्यस्य तस्य मृत्युर्न संशयः

ದುಷ್ಟವಾದ ಶಬ್ದಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ರಮಿಸುವವನು, ಅಥವಾ ಅತಿಶುದ್ಧವಾದ ಶಬ್ದಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಅತಿಯಾಗಿ ಮಗ್ನನಾಗುವವನು, ಅಂತಹವನಿಗೆ ಪಶ್ಚಾತ್ತಾಪ ಉಂಟಾಗುತ್ತದೆ; ಅವನಿಗೆ ಮೃತ್ಯು ನಿಶ್ಚಿತವೆಂದು ಸಂದೇಹವಿಲ್ಲ. ಈ ಶ್ಲೋಕವು ವಾಕ್ಕಿನ ಮತ್ತು ಮನಸ್ಸಿನ ಸೂಕ್ಷ್ಮ ಸಮತೋಲನದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯವಾಗಿ…
