स्थूलाङ्गोऽपि कृशः कृशोऽपि सहसा स्थूलत्वमालभ्यते प्राप्तो वा कनकप्रभां यदि भवेत्क्रूरोऽपि कृष्णच्छविः । शूरो भीरुसुधीरधर्मनिपुणः शान्तो विकारी पुमान्नित्येवं प्रकृतिः प्रयाति चलनं मासाष्टकं जीवति

ದಪ್ಪಗಿರುವವನು ತೆಳ್ಳಗಾಗುತ್ತಾನೆ, ತೆಳ್ಳಗಿರುವವನು ಏಕಾಏಕಿ ದಪ್ಪಗಾಗುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಚಿನ್ನದ ಕಾಂತಿಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆದವನು ಕಪ್ಪು ಬಣ್ಣಕ್ಕೆ ತಿರುಗುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಕ್ರೂರಿಯು ದಯಾಳುವಾಗುತ್ತಾನೆ, ಕಪ್ಪು ಬಣ್ಣದವನು ಸುವರ್ಣ ವರ್ಣವನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಭೀರುವು ಶೂರನಾಗುತ್ತಾನೆ, ಪಂಡಿತನು ಮೂರ್ಖನಾಗುತ್ತಾನೆ…
