मध्याङ्गुलीनां त्रितयं न वक्रं रोगं विना शुष्यति यस्य कण्ठः । मुहुर्मुहुः प्रश्नवशेन जाड्यात्षड्भिः स मासैः प्रलयं प्रयाति

மத்திய மூன்று விரல்கள் (நடு விரல், பெயர் குறிக்கும் விரல், சுட்டுவிரல்) வளைந்து காணப்படவில்லை; நோய் இல்லாமல் அவரது தொண்டை வறண்டு போகிறது; மீண்டும் மீண்டும் கேள்விகளால் வரும் மந்தத்துவத்தால் — அந்த நபர் ஆறு மாதங்களில் மரணத்தை அடைகிறார்…
