Verse 1.65

शुक्लपक्षे भवेद्वामा कृष्णपक्षे च दक्षिणा । जानीयात्प्रतिपत्पूर्वं योगी तद्यतमानसः

新月から満月への白い月齢（ शुक्लपक्ष）の間は左側の鼻孔（ वामा）が優位となり、満月から新月への黒い月齢（ कृष्णपक्ष）の間は右側の鼻孔（ दक्षिणा）が優位となる。修行者は、月の満ち欠けの周期が始まる最初の一日（ प्रतिपत्）以前に、この真理を心して知り、絶え間ない努力を払うべきである。
