Verse 1.73

अहोरात्रस्य मध्ये तु ज्ञेया द्वादशसङ्क्रमाः । वृषकर्कटकन्यालिमृगमीना निशाकरे

ಅಹೋರಾತ್ರದ (ಹಗಲು ಮತ್ತು ರಾತ್ರಿಗಳ) ಮಧ್ಯೆ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಸಂಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯಬೇಕು. ವೃಷ, ಕರ್ಕಾಟಕ, ಕನ್ಯಾ, ಲಿ, ಮೃಗ, ಮೀನ — ಇವು ನಿಶಾಕರೆ (ಚಂದ್ರನಲ್ಲಿ) ಅವಕಾಶವಿರುವ ಗ್ರಹಗಳಾಗಿವೆ. ಈ ಶ್ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವರೋದಯ ತತ್ತ್ವದ ಒಂದು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಸೂಕ್ಷ್ಮ ಹಾಗೂ ರಹಸ್ಯಮಯ ಭಾಗವನ್ನು ಶಿವನು…
