सर्वशास्त्रपुराणादि स्मृतिवेदाङ्गपूर्वकम्। स्वरज्ञानात्परं तत्त्वं नास्ति किञ्चिद्वरानने

ಎಲೈ ಸುಂದರಿಯೇ, ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಗಳು, ಪುರಾಣಗಳು, ಸ್ಮೃತಿಗಳು, ವೇದಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ವೇದಾಂಗಗಳು ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ಜ್ಞಾನವಿದ್ದರೂ, ಸ್ವರ ಜ್ಞಾನಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮಿಗಿಲಾದ ತತ್ತ್ವವು ಮತ್ತೊಂದಿಲ್ಲ. ಈ ಶ್ಲೋಕವು ಸ್ವರೋದಯ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರದ ಅತ್ಯುನ್ನತ ಸ್ಥಾನವನ್ನು ಘೋಷಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ವೇದಗಳು, ಉಪನಿಷತ್ತುಗಳು…
