Verse 1.372

रक्षणीयस्ततो देहो यतो धर्मादिसाधनम्। अथ योगप्रकरणम्। योगाभ्यासात्वमायान्ति साधुजप्यास्तु साध्यताम्। असाध्याञ्जीवितं घ्नन्ति न तत्रास्ति प्रतिक्रिया

この詩節は、霊的探求における身体の神聖な役割を明確に示しています。身体は単なる肉の塊ではなく、ダルマを実践し、真理を体得するための不可欠な器です。したがって、無謀な行いや neglect によって身体を害することは、霊的成長の可能性そのものを損なうことを意味します。呼吸のリズム（スワロダヤ）を観察し調えることは、この貴重な器を健全に保ち、より高次の実践へと進むための基盤となります。
