अतः सततमुद्युक्तः, स्पन्दं तत्त्व-विविक्तये। जाग्रदेव निजं भावमचिरेणाधि-गच्छति॥

ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ, ಸ್ಪಂದ ತತ್ತ್ವವನ್ನು ವಿವೇಕದಿಂದ ಅರಿಯುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಎಚ್ಚರವಾಗಿರುವವನು (ಉದ್ಯುಕ್ತನು), ತನ್ನ ಸ್ವಂತ ಸ್ವಭಾವವನ್ನು ಬಹುಬೇಗನೇ ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಈ ಕಾರಿಕೆಯು ಸಾಧಕನ ನಿರಂತರ ಎಚ್ಚರದ ಅಗತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಒತ್ತಿಹೇಳುತ್ತದೆ. 'ಉದ್ಯುಕ್ತ' ಎಂದರೆ ಕೇವಲ ದೈಹಿಕವಾಗಿ…
