भुङ्गेपरवशो भोगं तद् भावात्सरिरदतः । संसृतिप्रलयस्यैतस्य कारणं स प्रचक्ष्महे ॥

ಆತನು ಪರವಶನಾಗಿ (ಸ್ವತಂತ್ರನಲ್ಲದೆ) ಭೋಗವನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಆತನು ಆ ಭಾವದಿಂದಲೇ (ಆ ಅನುಭವದ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಿಂದಲೇ) ಬಂಧಿತನಾಗುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಈ ಸಂಸಾರದ ಪ್ರಳಯಕ್ಕೆ (ಅಥವಾ ಸಂಸಾರದ ಅಸ್ತಿತ್ವಕ್ಕೆ) ಇದೇ ಕಾರಣ ಎಂದು ನಾವು ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಈ ಕಾರಿಕೆಯು ಜೀವನು ತನ್ನ ನಿಜವಾದ ಸ್ವರೂಪವಾದ…
