ग्लानिर्बलुष्टिका देहे तस्याश्चाज्ञानतः सृतिः । तदुन्मेष विलुप्तं चेत् कुतः सार्याद हेतुका ॥

ದೇಹದಲ್ಲಿ ಗ್ಲಾನಿ (ಆಲಸ್ಯ ಅಥವಾ ಶಿಥಿಲತೆ) ಮತ್ತು ಬಲಹೀನತೆಯು ಉಂಟಾಗುತ್ತದೆ; ಇದರ ಹರಿವು ಅಜ್ಞಾನದಿಂದಲೇ ಸಂಭವಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಆದರೆ ಆ ಗ್ಲಾನಿಯು (ಚೈತನ್ಯದ) ಉನ್ಮೇಷದಿಂದ (ಸ್ಪಂದನದ ಮಿಂಚಿನಿಂದ) ನಾಶವಾಗುವುದಾದರೆ, ಆಗ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ (ಅಂದರೆ ಗ್ಲಾನಿಗೆ) ಕಾರಣವೇನು ಇರಬಲ್ಲದು? ಈ ಕಾರಿಕೆಯು…
